Approach to Teaching

"I am an experienced, dedicated and friendly tutor of maths. I presently teach maths in a sixth form college and in the past have worked in secondary and middle schools as well as teaching adults in the Further Education sector. I very much enjoy tutoring all types of students, whether they are high flyers aiming for excellent grades or those less confident working towards a qualification necessary for further study or needing some individual input to support their studies at school or college. As I am currently teaching A Level, IB, GCSE and IGCSE, I have up to date knowledge of present specifications but as I work part time I can be very flexible in terms of timing of tutoring sessions. I have high levels of success from my tutees. For example 100% of my students have passed the numeracy professional skills test. Recent testimonials from tutees are available. I offer reduced rates for more than one student."
