Approach to Teaching

"I have skill and experience of supporting and teaching students in schools and workplace. I enjoy working with students to identify the areas of their maths that they struggle with. I have been currently working at a secondary school and supporting different abilities of students. I provide effective lesson such as one-to- one maths for a group of students. I teach maths from Key Stage 1, 2, 3, 4 - up to Year 11 GCSE Higher and Foundation Level. I teach students in the 11 to 16 age range up to GCSE level mainly on Edexcel and AQA GCSE courses. I use resources such as text books, computer, past papers and visual aids to support students in their studies. I am friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching students. I am able to create effective lesson plans to ensure that it is interesting for student to learn. My aim is to motivate and support students to build their confidence in their work to achieve their own potential."
