Approach to Teaching

"I am a 21 year-old student and recently graduated from Durham University with a 2:1 in physics and philosophy. I am offering tuition in both physics and mathematics. I am a very patient and understanding person, who is very good at seeing an other`s point of view, allowing me spot any gaps in understanding and explain material thoroughly and clearly. Although I have always coped well academically in high-school and sixth form, studying high level physics at university has seen me sometimes struggling, and really driven home to me the necessity of clear, comprehensible teaching (which is certainly not a given at university!). This means I can understand what it`s like to be on both sides of the equation, and this is to the benefit of my teaching abilities. Often very academic people can struggle to see how others fail to understand something, with me this is not the case."
