Approach to Teaching

"I am a fully qualified teacher, currently in my 6th year of teaching, and I am head of year 6 in a three-form entry primary school. I am passionate about education and learning and want every child that I teach to fully maximise their potential. I have excellent success rates with my classes and I firmly believe that this is down to treating every child as an individual. Every learner is different and I apply this in my approach to teaching - what works for one wont necessarily work for another and I will always tailor my approach to your childs needs. I have high expectations of the children I teach - if something is worth doing, then its worth doing to the best of your ability! Whilst I expect hard work, I also ensure that learning is fun and engaging for the child so that they come away wanting to learn more."
