Approach to Teaching

"I am a passionate teacher with 3 years of experience in teaching Mathematics, Physics and English to learners with Dyslexia, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder. I also taught for a semester Geography and Geology at a public school. My first goal is to make my students love the subject since I believe that motive is the key to success. I use educational techniques that suit each of my students and gradually I teach them how they can themselves prepare and do their homework, understand concepts and finally excell in their exams. Even if my studies are not in Maths, I graduated (first in my class) from a course with a lot of mathematics and physics courses offered and in Greece I can legally teach Mathematics and Physics at public and private high schools. My MSc. In Petroleum Geoscience at Imperial College together with my previous studies give me the ideal background so as to have a more broad knowledge of the subjects with many applied examples that give my students better understanding and intriguing motive to learn more on the concepts studied."
