Approach to Teaching

"Hi, my name is Robert and I am, and always have been, passionate about teaching. As a Science teacher I revelled in the fun of delivering such a vibrant, diverse and topical subject and have been described as outstanding by Ofsted and praised for my infectious enthusiasm. Such is my love of teaching that I studied for and passed a TEFL qualification so that I could teach English as a foreign language to French people (adults and children) while living in France for 12 years. Having now returned I have resumed my teaching career but have moved into the primary years working as a supply teacher with several agencies in the local area. I deliver the complete curriculum to years 1-6. Additionally, I have several students to whom I offer private tuition teaching English and Maths up to year 6 (age 11) and General Science up to year 9 (age 14). I enjoy being able to tailor my tuition to the individual and achieve great satisfaction from seeing their progress as a result. I welcome any enquiries and will be happy to discuss how best to develop and enhance your child's understanding of Maths, English or Science."
