Approach to Teaching

"Previously taught GCSE students as well as some A levels. Worked with children within a school setting. I ensure that the student understands everything to the tiniest detail as well as the basics since that is the only way they will be able to progress. I ensure that the student understands everything starting from the basics, since that is the most important part. It is vital that they understand every step of the way since if they are stuck at one point they will find it difficult to progress to the next level and the level after that. I use a lot of examples to help the student understand, I test the student on the topic taught to ensure that they have fully grasped an understanding. Having been tutored my self during my early school years, I have learnt that merely describing how something is and making the students do a few questions is not enough, as many different scenarios must be covered in order for them to be able to deal with any type of questions in the future. I am a enthusiastic, friendly and patient teacher who genuinely cares about the tutees learning, understanding and development. Native language: Dari. "
