Approach to Teaching

"Whatever you need help with in science, I'm here to help. I have a long history of science education, from working in museums to carrying out scientific research for the British Antarctic Survey. I am a fully qualified teacher with 2 years of full-time teaching experience in mainstream education in England (although I am originally from Scotland, so I am also familiar with Scottish Standard Grades and Highers). During that time I have tutored GCSE and A-level students through exams, and provided extra support to KS3 students. I use a variety of strategies to help you develop your knowledge and understanding, and am flexible with the pace and content of tutor sessions. Sessions will be guided by your needs and progress, and you will be free to contact me with any questions you may have between tutoring sessions which I shall endeavour to reply to promptly."
