Approach to Teaching

"I have recently retired as a teacher of maths at a local secondary school rated as 'Outstanding' by OFSTED. I am an experienced GCSE and A level tutor and can also support students with their study skills and independent learning. I have a maths degree from a Russell Group University, as well as postgraduate certificate in education. I also have an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree. I enjoy working with young people and supporting their academic achievement and personal development. I live close to both Bridgewater High School and Priestley College so students can walk to sessions at my home. I am also a skilled remote-learning teacher using Zoom and other platforms. I use high quality online resources such as White Rose Maths and Dr Frost Maths."
