Approach to Teaching

"I am absolutely passionate about maths and studied it in addition to my school subjects at A-level, achieving A for both Maths and Further Maths and also produced a maths research project as part of my final dissertation. I have provided maths tuition over the past 3-4 years to students of various ages, from 5 through to 25. As a tutor, I believe its essential to encourage enjoyment of maths as part of improving results. I like to sit down with each of my students to understand the areas they want to improve in and what they are trying to achieve. I then use this to create a comprehensive plan."
