Approach to Teaching

"I am working as a private tutor since 2005. I am a well-experienced Maths graduate. I offer tuition in Maths to GCSE, A-Level and International Baccalaureate (IB) students. In addition, I teach 11 Plus (11+), and Common Entrance Exams. I also teach QTS Numeracy Skills Test. I offer tuition in Pure Maths, Applied Maths, Core Maths, Mechanics, Further Pure Maths, and Decision Maths. I also exclusively provide tuition in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning for 11 Plus Exam, and Common Entrance Exam. Several students, which I have taught, secured places at leading UK universities. Several 11 plus students which I have taught, secured places at top grammar schools including Tiffin Boys` School, Tiffin Girls` School, King Edward VI Grammar Schools (Birmingham), and Reading School (Reading Boys). Several 11 plus students, which I have taught achieved 100% marks (or above 95% marks) in their 11 plus exams. I have taught students from world-famous schools including Eton College, Wellington College, ACS International School, and City of London School for Boys. I have taught students with serious special needs and children who have been taken out of mainstream schooling altogether, to able and diligent pupils who just want a little extra stretching. I have a clean enhanced DBS Certificate."

When she first went to him, her grades were at E-D level and her general knowledge of maths was underage. As her GCSE exams approached, her grades have improved greatly as she is now aiming for B and A grades in her GCSEs. Mr Iftikhar is a very direct teacher who enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students but also allows them to think for themselves. He makes sure his students fully understand the topics he teaches by explaining it clearly and writing down notes that they can then take home and go over.
