Approach to Teaching

"I consider myself to be a lively, energetic person who is passionate about all the subjects I offer to tutor which I consider highly important in order to motivate a pupil. I am a Masters student at City University London having graduated with a high 2:1 from the University of Warwick. I have always excelled academically, achieving 5 As at A Level and 7A*s and 4 As at GCSE. I am patient, reliable and above all, very motivated! I have tutored more than 15 students throughout my undergraduate degree. These were obtained through tutoring sites and I have received many 5* ratings. Indeed, many of my subsequent teachers came from recommendations and I had to start turning people down due to time commitments. One of many success stories include a girl who, at the age of 13, hated maths and struggled in lessons. After weekly lessons with me throughout her GCSEs, she is now predicted an A and plans to take Maths at A Level. It is this which makes tutoring worthwhile."
