Approach to Teaching

"I am a fully qualified teacher who teaches in a successful somerset school. Being a current teacher I am up to date with all the changes in the curriculum so I know what a pupil needs to be successful in their exam. I have been a private tutor since 2008 and a classroom teacher since 2004. In a recent OFSTED inspection my teaching was graded as outstanding. I try to run my tutoring sessions in a friendly and relaxed environment where it is adapted for the students needs. My sessions are run to support the work that the student is doing at school, catch up with any work they are struggling in and to generally increase their confidence. I'm available after school on week nights and over the weekends. I am able to come to your home to tutor your child. I have a good range of teaching and tutoring experiences from tutoring pupils to get their grade C up to pupils who are targeting A* I offer a trial lesson for GBP15 for the first lesson so you can see if I'm the right tutor for you."
