Approach to Teaching

"I have always wanted to become a teacher, that is why I chose to study engineering as it had many subjects in it such as Maths, Science, Chemistry, Biology. I had realised the importance of these subjects in everyday life, a base to so many subject areas such as physics and engineering before I started studying Environmental Engineering at University. Afterwards, I started to see how the things I learnt may be adapted and used in a practical situation. I was extremely enthusiastic about my decision to read Engineering at university, because these subjects have always been my main academic interests, has always been my favourite and best subjects throughout my school years, and especially at A level. However, after I graduated from university, maths became my favourite subjects out of other 3 subjects. That is why I worked as a Self Employed English Maths Tutor/Supply Teacher for a while and it has made me to become a Maths Teacher now. I have got a BSc in Engineering and PGCE in Mathematics. I have been working as a Maths Teacher at a school and I am experienced in one on one, both small or large group tutoring at schools and privately. Certain tasks involved: helping students to improve their weak subjects, preparing a lesson programme for each student. Doing this since 2011 has really tested my patience, and I felt an obligation to completing each task set to the greatest standard. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I like to go to the gym, I like to play pools. I also enjoy cycling and casually playing football with friends; this also keeps me fit and healthy."

Extra Charges for Travel etc

I charge £10 extra if the tutee wants me to travel to their home.

Discounts

I charge £45 for each student per hour for 1-2-1 tuitions. I charge £40 for each student if I have a pair of students. I charge £30 for each student per hour if I have 3 or more students. I also charge £40 if a students book more than 3 hours a week.
