Approach to Teaching

"I worked in IT for 13 years before taking the decision to retrain as a Maths teacher. I provide Maths specialist teaching support to form 5 & 6 pupils in Greyhouse school, Hartley Wintney. Similarly I support year 11 pupils in Yateley School in preparation for Maths GCSE exams. I aim to get to know each of my individual pupils strengths and weaknesses, and their own best way of learning. From that platform each lesson can be more focussed and productive. Lesson content is driven by the needs of the individual - be it general support or specific to certain areas of the syllabus."
