Approach to Teaching

"I am a third year Undergraduate Biochemistry University student at the University of Liverpool due to graduate in June 2013 and move onto a medical degree. I obtained a full scholarship to study at one of the best schools in the country, The City of London School for girls for my secondary and A-Level education. Schooling there has given me a firm foundation in my knowledge for maths and science and enabled me to obtain fantastic GCSES and A-Level results. While at the school I was a mentor to many junior pupils, helping them to prepare towards their sciences and maths GCSES. I assist with GCSE tutoring at a local centre back in Kent during the school holidays teaching large groups of students and helping students 1 on 1. Having done my GCSES and A-Levels recently I have a fresh knowledge of the types of questions that appear in the exam and have acquired strong revision techniques to help obtain outstanding results."
