Approach to Teaching

"I am a qualified Mathematics teacher offering a one-to-one tuition. Lessons are usually for 1-2 hours on evenings and weekends. I teach Mathematics from KS3 to GCSE. Past papers and other resources will be provided for students. I am based in the High Wycombe area, and I will also be able to provide a CRB check as well as references upon request. I usually spend the first half an hour assessing the student and drafting a revision plan for the time frame given. My approach to tutoring involves explaining concepts to students in a logical and step by step basis, before setting questions to check the student's understanding. I then use past paper questions to familiarise the student with the style of questions in the exam, and to consolidate their understanding. Thank you and good luck!"
