Approach to Teaching
"I am an experienced, enthusiastic and encouraging teacher of mathematics. My background is as a Chartered Engineer in Industry, followed by running a mathematics after school tuition class for 4 years and being Chair of Governors at my local Primary School. I have been teaching secondary mathematics from years 7 to 13 for 8 years in 2 different schools, taking acting positions of KS3 and KS5 co-ordinators. I have always loved one-to-one tuition as I can make a significant difference in a relatively short time. It is often lack of confidence or understanding in a few areas of maths so my approach is tailored to individual needs using a mixture of textbooks and exam papers."Hourly Charges
