Approach to Teaching

"I am a Chartered Mathematician (CMath) and this designation represents high levels of professionalism and competence in mathematics. It is awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications to practising professional mathematicians. I also have three degrees in mathematics and a teaching qualification. In particular, I have a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Mathematics; an MPhil in Applied Mathematics; an MSc in Computational Mathematics and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics (2.1). I am able to tutor mathematics to A-Level and beyond. I have been tutoring mathematics for twelve years to individuals and groups of students and offer friendly, relaxed lessons individually, or in groups, tailored to what the pupil requires. I also work as a Mathematics Lecturer in the Further Education sector. In particular, I have taught mathematics to students in Further Education Colleges for four years and also taught mathematics to students in Adult Education Colleges for two years."
