Approach to Teaching

"I am a friendly and dynamic teacher. I have 3 years experience as a mathematics teacher in a secondary school and have coached and mentored students from low ability through to gifted and talented. I take each student individually and assess their unique needs, and feel strongly that building a good relationship is instrumental to their success. I instil in my students a positive work ethic which enables them to achieve their best. My teaching methods range from visual and practical activities to practice exam questions, depending on the student and circumstance; however I always aim for a conceptual understanding."
