Approach to Teaching

"I am very well qualified with a Maths degree, PGCE teaching qualification, recent clear CRB check and have extensive experience, over many years, of one to one tutoring where I feel I make a real difference to all my students. Building confidence is extremely important in students in what can be a challenging subject and I like to be very approachable and friendly. The feedback has been very positive and my students have achieved excellent grades. A full and extensive list of references can be provided from parents, students and old employers. I am currently working at Neville Lovett Community School in Fareham and City Girls School in Portsmouth. For the past few years I have worked at Charter Academy in Portsmouth also providing one to one support. This went extremely well and full references can be provided.
