Approach to Teaching

"I have a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Kings College London. Over the last two years I have helped out the younger undergrads with questions and problems they have come across. I have also been a lab demonstrator at university, explaining difficult concepts encountered by the pupils. Additionally, I participated in the Student Associate Scheme, whereby I spent 3 weeks in a school teaching and helping pupils. Moreover, I am a very patient and enthusiastic tutor and encourage my students to think critically and evaluate their answers. Also, I like to involve the students in my lessons as much as possible and I guide them in coming up with the answers, thus boosting their confidence and overall understanding of the topic. I love the satisfaction gained from seeing the students overcome their fears with regards to school work, especially with maths. "
