Approach to Teaching

"I am an aspiring and very promising undergraduate tutor. A student myself as well, I am pursuing a BSc Major in Mathematics from the Open University. My A levels qualification has been gained in India wherein I scored 80% with core subjects Maths, Physics and Chemistry. My approach to teach maths is a very simple one wherein every step taken ahead makes it seems more simpler than the previous one. Thinking in terms of not only a solution but alternative ways to arrive at a solution is the confidence that I want to give a student of maths. A journey full of conversation and answers is the path of maths and I am sincere that every student shall excel when taught in this manner. Lots of practice in understanding, analysing and solving questions, forming questions, mathematical methods and communication,and modelling are the basics which are reinforced at every level. Lastly I would say I am patient, supportive and encouraging as I teach and just want my students to be able to relish playing with numbers and mastering the skills which shall bring about a personal revolution."
