Approach to Teaching

"My passion for Maths has provided me with a well-rounded knowledge of the subject and I’d been offered the role as tutor for the younger students during after school classes. It is a job that has given me a lot of personal satisfaction as it was enjoyable to do, and enabled me to fulfil many roles to the student, that of mentor, friend and teacher. I have recently been promoted to supervisor at another tutoring centre working within Loxford School, which involves managing a class of 30 students, handling money and ensuring that the classroom runs smoothly. My ability to work with students, teachers and parents in order to find out their weakest points, and the aspiration to work towards providing strengthening services has been commended many times. Moreover, my know-how to design and conduct workshops and develop interactive materials for students would enable me to produce excellent results. Additionally, I possess a positive attitude and a passion to assist struggling learners."
