Approach to Teaching

"I am a friendly, committed and reliable maths tutor that has worked as a fully qualified maths teacher in a Nottinghamshire secondary school since 2012. I live just outside Lincoln and am able to offer personalised tuition to tutees studying KS2, KS3 and GCSE maths. My aim is to build tutees confidence and enjoyment in maths through adopting a personalised, engaging approach to learning. I am able to do this through using an extensive bank of resources and activities and using different approaches and methods to help aid understanding. I also try to apply the maths to real-life situations as much as possible. I have a large number of past papers to monitor progress and to help identify target topics and therefore provide excellent preparation for exams."
