Approach to Teaching

"Having graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2009, with a 2:1 in Mathematics, I decided to stay another year to complete a Masters Degree. Whilst doing so, I supported myself by teaching Science in the local schools to underprivileged children as part of an extra curricular scheme. Since completing my Masters in Finance (with Merit), I have been working at PricewaterhouseCoopers for the past two and a half years and have recently completed my ACA qualification. During my time at PwC, I have acted as a mentor to schoolchildren in the local area who I help tutor in areas in which they are struggling and discuss their career opportunities and pathways open to them in the future. With my A* in GCSE Maths, A in A-level and my degree (all performed within the last years), I feel that I have the relevant and recent experience to help in any way that I can. "
