Approach to Teaching

"I am a father of a high school child, I have a BSc (honours)degree in mathematics from the university of Edinburgh, I also have a Masters degree MSc in Mathematical Logic and the Theory of Computation from the Manchester University. I am also a civil engineer (Iran). I have got a variety of IT qualifications(e.g. Java Programming and Web Designing) too. I have always loved teaching specially Mathematics and IT. 1. I would like to inspire the students to believe in themselves and to build up their self-confidence. 2. I would prefer to encourage students to think analytically and independently to find patterns, so that they are able to enjoy maths (Or IT courses) and as a result get good marks. 3. I also make use of visual methods in teaching mathematics so that students can have a bigger picture of mathematical concepts and a sense of seeing the connections between the concepts. 4. I am flexible and if its necessary will explain things in different ways."
