Approach to Teaching

"I am a 43 year old female maths teacher, married with 2 children. I tutor at Tyne Green in Hexham every Sunday. Sessions last 1hr or 1hr30 or 2hrs (depending on the needs of the student) and can be arranged on an individual basis or in small groups (usually 2-4 students) Individual lessons cost £28 per hour Group lessons cost: £16 per hour per student (in a group of 2 pupils); £12 per hour per student (in a group of 3 pupils); £10 per hour per student (in a group of 4 pupils); Since qualifying in 1993 I have worked in 4 schools (2 years at a secondary school in Yorkshire, 16 years at 2 secondary schools in Newcastle and 3 years at a middle school in Northumberland) as a maths teacher / head of maths. Experience: KS2, 3, 4 & 5. QTS Full CRB / DBS GTC First Aid Certificate"
