Approach to Teaching

"I have been a teacher for over 40 years, teaching students of all abilities. I also help run both Guides & Scouts. I have marked GCSE examinations for an examination board for about 25 years (Higher & Foundation). For a few years I was a Team Leader for the marking (looking after other examiners -checking that they mark to the correct standard & helping them to do so). I have tutored many GCSE students at home for years at all levels. I worked for a company for over 10 years that goes into schools & delivers cramming courses (a week of maths GCSE lessons) to increase grades.I have also marked KS2 Mathematics & have done some work with KS1. I love helping students to achieve their full potential at Mathematics."
