Approach to Teaching

"I am currently a secondary school maths teacher. I have a passion for maths and would like to extend this and offer one to one tutoring to students who find maths challenging. I tend to build excellent relationship with students i work with in order to make maths interesting, enjoyable and most important accessible. I will be willing to use all the resources I have to ensure students meet their targets and progress is evident. I will also be wiling to assist with homework as well as revision for assessments. I have vast experience both as a maths teacher (4 years experience) and a tutor, and currently I am a subject leader at a school in East London. I also have a very good and clear understanding of the new GCSE specification and its demands, and I have adapted my tutoring styles to these changes so that my prospective students get the best out of me."
