Approach to Teaching

"I am a Cambridge Graduate (2:1 obtained) who enjoys tutoring Mathematics. I am a qualified teacher with my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics. I have taught KS3 (years 7 to 9) and KS4 (GCSE both Higher and Foundation) in schools as well as tutoring. I have also tutored for 11+ entrance exams, Numeracy (level 1 and level 2), A level Mathematics and A level Further Maths. I specialise in teaching Pure (Core) and Mechanics modules but and confident in teaching all the listed modules. I like to promote a relaxed atmosphere as many students I have tutored have found Maths quite stressful to study. During the first introductory session I will work with you to create a plan for what you want to accomplish e.g. A certain grade. We will then work together towards achieving it whilst I try to build your confidence to use mathematics. Prices include travel costs"
