Approach to Teaching

"I am an enthusiastic teacher of mathematics and physics with more than five years of successful classroom experience and more than three years of research experience. I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics at the University of L'Aquila, then I went on to study for my Master's Degree and PhD at the same university. During this time I gave lectures and held seminars in mathematics to undergraduate and postgraduate students. I also gained valuable experience as a substitute teacher at several Secondary Schools and I was a private tutor in mathematics and physics to a range of students from the age of 11 to 25 years old. This gave me the opportunity to improve teaching skills in both the public and private sector and have enabled me to develop good organisational skills, an analytical-logical approach to tasks. My objective is to help pupils to overcome their difficulties, to reason and make them to think mathematically. I fully integrate my IT skills in lesson. I am caring, attentive, trustworthy, hardworking and eager to learn."
