Approach to Teaching

"I would describe myself as a calm, patient person who is passionate about helping students who struggle with maths. I am a fully qualified maths teacher and over the past 5 years I have tutored numerous people. I enjoy bringing maths to life for those who find maths difficult. I enjoy working with students who are in primary school and I have enjoyed preparing them for secondary as often this is when a number students struggle. I have tutored students who have had to resit their GCSE's and those who have always found maths to be a challenge. I don't have one set method of tutoring as I tend to base the sessions on the students individual needs. I am also welcome to feedback as in the past this has helped me to find different ways to ensure that information is retained."
