Approach to Teaching

"Experience: Over the past three years I have been very successful in aiding over 20 tutees to significantly exceed their targets, typically from a starting point well below target.The majority have been GCSE candidates but I have also tutored AS & A level Maths, KS3 and three adults (two or teacher training teachers QTS skills tests and one for Royal Naval Officer Entrance exams). I work both independently and in collaboration with schools. I am also a NVQ Level 3 Assessor and over the past 25 years have provided IT training to blue chip companies. Due to my background in writing documentation for IT companies, I am also able to provide extra help to the explanatory side of mathematics which has been given more emphasis in recent years. I am happy to travel up to 15 miles along the M61 corridor."
