Approach to Teaching

"I am currently working as Head of Physics at St Clement Danes School. I am an accomplished, motivated and enthusiastic educator and I have significant experience and know-how of teaching and personal coaching of students in Physics strive towards a secure, inspiring classroom atmosphere to enhance the teaching and learning process. I have developed good listening and communication skills to maintain excellent relations with students and I have strong planning, organisational and leadership skills. My role is to inspire my learners by using innovative active teaching learning techniques. Sometimes I have to adapt different teaching methods or learning styles to cater for my learners' needs. I am a result oriented individual and consistently use AFL and monitor the students closely to address the learner' weakness by giving them constructive feedback. I only intervene when required and allow my learners to be taking responsibility of their learning. I am a facilitator for learning and ensure their target grades are reached or exceeded."
