Approach to Teaching

"Past experience in tutoring has taught me that there is no standard method that is suitable for each student, however there are a few techniques I use to ensure that the student is completely engaged and focused which in return allows the student to learn the material more efficiently. I provide quizzes at the beginning and the end of every lesson. Introducing small tests specifically at the beginning, will enlighten the students of previous material henceforth reinforcing the students understanding of each concept. Furthermore after each chapter, I present the student with an exam-style question so that they become enlighten with the style and format of the question as well as assessing the students understanding on the specific chapter. I believe that repetition and appliance of concepts learned are vital for internalising their understanding which will prove crucial during their examinations. Being a current student myself in the current education system as well as gaining success in the modern educational system, I'm well aware of the latest modifications introduced by exams boards and the methods required for students to achieve their goal."
