Approach to Teaching

"I am a Cambridge University Graduate, and studied Economics, Geography and Law. Prior to this I achieved 11A Stars at GCSE, and 3 A Star grades at A2 level. I currently work in financial services in London. I am a very experienced tutor, with over 5 years experience and a plethora of revision notes/ materials which I am more than happy to share with students. I offer a bespoke service, tailoring my strategies to the individual, and therefore offer a free consultation session prior to commencing tuition, in order to gauge the student/parent’s expectations. I can cater for students of different ages and abilities, and mainly tutor students approaching their GCSE/A2 examinations, however in the past I have taught younger students for 11+ entrance exams/ St Olaves Grammar entry exams, as well as a variety of private schools. I also run sessions preparing students for University Interviews/ Personal Statements and general advice through the UCAS process, in particular Ox-bridge sessions, having experienced this at first hand. The subjects I am most proficient in are: English, Maths, Geography, Economics, History and Sciences (up to GCSE level). Thanks."
