Approach to Teaching

"Maths: DO YOU NEED HELP? GCSE, A level, Undergraduate I specialise in teaching Mathematics and Accounting. What you can expect: Initial assessment Diagnostic assessment Formative assessment Regular feedback on performance Up-to-date knowledge about the syllabus and requirements of the following exam boards: AQA OCR, C & G, MEI and Edexcel. Fun! My expertise is in the followings subjects: GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics. AS/A2 Mathematics (C1, C2, C3, C4, FP1, FP2, FP3, S1, S2, M1, M2, D1). AS/A2 Accounting-(Adult-learner, A-level) Business Studies (KS3, GCSE, Adult-learner, A-level) University entrance conditions or re-take Maths modules. Availability: Weekdays (7:00 - 9:30 pm) and Weekends (9:00 - 9:00pm) A fully employed College teacher in a good college with outstanding features. For the last 8 years I have been teaching Mathematics from Entry 1 (ESOL) right through to Level 3 (AS & A2 Levels) and A-level Accounting with a large group of students including international students; I taught them privately and institutionally. I have always had a great passion for teaching and have completed PGCE course to further develop my theoretical knowledge and skills. I studied my Masters in Mathematics and I studied Accounts. I possess a very strong background in mathematics because I have studied BSc(honours) as well as MSc in Mathematics. Last academic year I have received two commendations; one from the vice principle of my college for my students outstanding results (My GCSE Maths students all achieved A to C grades). The other award was from the principle for coming up with the "best teaching & learning idea to engage learners" in a show and tell event."
