Approach to Teaching

"I am a primary trained teacher. I have spent ten years teaching both primary and special needs. During this time I have been both a SENDCO and a Maths leader. I have 7 years of 1:1 tutoring experience. It is brilliant to watch the progress that a pupil can make with the correct support in the right environment. There is a great deal of evidence which demonstrates the progress that pupils make with 1:1 support. I have witnessed this many times. I believe that developing confidence is just as important as developing skills and knowledge."
