Approach to Teaching

"I have considerable experience teaching Maths and Sciences.I have been tutoring for the past 11 years. First I understand the level of the student and from there I plan my teaching session. I provide highly tailored 1-2-1 tuition lessons at a pace that is appropriate to the student and also provides a balance between challenge and support. I then try to bring the student up to their target level and then higher. I also try to link the teaching to practical application. I try to make the lesson very interesting giving numerous facts and examples so that student grasps it quickly and able to retain it. Many times students who approach me have been lagging behind in studies in school. I encourage and motivate them and help them to build confidence, focus and interest in studies. I believe in challenging and enhancing a learners abilities. I provide resources, test style questions and exam preparation strategies and fully gear the student to meet the challenge of taking and passing the exams with flying colors."
